1985 Porsche 944 Additional Info:
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1985.5 Porsche 944. This absolutely immaculate 944 comes in a spotless india red paint job complemented by a pristine black leather interior. Powering this 80s icon is an extremely low mile 2.5 liter 4 cylinder motor mated to a well sorted manual gearbox. Features of the Porsche include 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering, functional heat, A/C, stereo and more. This vehicle comes to us from an elite private collection and as such was always properly maintained and stored. Some of the recent maintenance completed includes new tires, new brakes, new timing belt, new water pump and a balanced shaft belt. The 944 model Porsche was a brilliant design upon its release. It bridged the get between the 924 and 911 models. As time goes on the 944s are becoming increasingly rare. As such they continue to rise in desirability. So, if you're in the market for an iconic Porsche, it'll be hard to find a cleaner 944 anywhere. Please call or email us today for more information.
The Porsche 944 is a sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Porsche from 1982 to 1991. A front-engine, rear-wheel drive mid-level model based on the 924 platform, the 944 was available in coupé or cabriolet body styles, with either naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines. In mid-1985, the 944 underwent its first significant changes, these included: new dashboard and door panels, embedded radio antenna, upgraded alternator (from 90 amp to 115 amp), increased oil sump capacity, new front and rear cast alloy control arms and semi-trailing arms, larger fuel tank, optional heated and powered seats, Porsche HiFi sound system, and revisions in the mounting of the transaxle to reduce noise and vibration.
