This was a one woman owned car from new until around 1985, her son drove it for a couple years until 1987. It was well cared for and maintained. My understanding is that is has been stored inside ever since. Is said to have been in running condition when parked. At some point there was an attempt to get it back on the road, but the keys were missing, so the ignition was drilled out to bypass, will need a new ignition switch. It also appears that someone was going to give it a tune up. but only got as far as taking off the air filter and distributor cap. As far as I know its been sitting in their garage since.
Here is your chance to own this Porsche 914/4 Roadster time capsule car and restore to stock, or your choosing. Over all its in good shape and has been properly stored. The floor pans will need some repair work but are pretty much intact. There is surface rust on some of the under body, but not very much, less than many of these cars, some surface rust under the front hood/ gas tank area. It will need some rust repair work. This car was said to run fine when stored, it has been sitting for many years and will need work before running. There are no known major issues with this car.
The driver seat, passenger seat and stereo are not included with the car.
The rest of is known to be pretty much complete, otherwise. Please look at the pictures, if you don't see it's not included with the car. This Vintage Porsche 914 will need a full restoration and is sold as is in non running condition.
