The Porsche 964 was Designed by Benjamin Dimson in January 1986, it featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models, most prominently the more integrated bumpers. It had added styling queues and features such as a power rear spoiler. It was the first car to be offered with Porsche's optional Tiptronic automatic transmission and all wheel drive as options. Like the 356 America Roadster it was named after, the Type 964 America Roadster was a limited-edition, driver-focused convertible destined for... the American market. Lamborghini Paramus is pleased to offer this stunning 1992 Guards Red 964 Roadster with only 32,000 miles since new. Featuring a 247HP 3.6L air cooled flat six, the same engine used in the standard 964. The engine runs beautifully with no strange sounds and has plenty of power. The 3.6L is mated to a six-speed gearbox that provides smooth and satisfying shifts and has no strange noises. Our team of Porsches experts have looked over this car from top to bottom and the car checked out with flying colors. A service was completed as well to ensure the car is turn key and ready to be enjoyed. Inside the car you will see the beautiful black leather interior that has no rips, tears or stains and is in like-new condition. There is no wear on the bolsters which is a common occurrence on the 964. The convertible top, dash and carpet are absolutely perfect as well. On the 964 Roadster, the small rear seats were replaced with a parcel shelf with storage compartments underneath, adding to the sporting nature of the car. The prominent differences of the 964 Roadster are the wide fender flares, suspension, brakes, and 17-inch Porsche Cup wheels of the 911 Turbo. The wide Turbo-style body and lack of a rear spoiler gives the America Roadster an aggressive look. This 1992 Guards Red 964 Roadster is the 911 you have been waiting for to add to your collection.
