1982 Porsche 911 Additional Info:
Pulls strong through every gear to redline. Starts great, runs great, drives great. All gauges work as they should. All lights and electronics work including sunroof. The second hand on the clock does not work. Tuned up 100 miles ago. New plugs, valve adjustment, valve cover gaskets, fuel filter, air filter, oil change/filter. It has turbo valve covers. New clutch cable last summer, clutch adjusted. No broken lower head studs (pics to prove it). Brakes flushed 2 summers ago when I replaced master cylinder. Break pads have plenty on them and will include a set.
AC not hooked up and heater does not work. I have not even looked into why. When I got this car it had many oil leaks. The Oil Supply Pipe from Oil Thermostat to Front Cooler Supply Line was smashed, cut and coupled. It leaked bad. Replacing that and valve cover gaskets helped a lot. $600 later she's not a smoker any more. I just drove it today for the first time this year and not leaking nor did it drip anything all winter. It may leak a drop or 2 after drive. Stored in heated garage.
I put in a modern fuse block so no old school fuses and now has a real lightingcontactor.
It has the ducktail trunk and turbo quarter panels. They are fiberglass.
The 915 transmission shifts smooth. Brand new Swepco 201 gear oil, shifter bushings and coupler.
