1973 Porsche 911 S TRIM Additional Info:
Hello - I'm reluctantly selling a few special cars I've collected over the years. This beautiful 911came to me several years back from an enthusiast who had owned this beautiful car since 1996.During his ownership he had the car stripped to bare metal and resprayed the original Gold Metalic. The paint shows excellent with only minor imperfections. Also during the previous owners tenure the motor was overhauled. This included replacing the timing chain tensioner with the more modern reliable part. When I bought the car it did not have the condenser or the compressor mounted back in the car. My plans were to make it functional an it is close. Needs the refrigeration lines reattached and a professional to recharge. An opportunity has come up on real estate I've been wanting to buy and therefore I'm motivated to sell some very nice cars. I am going to be listing a 1963 Alfa 2600 Roadster and a 73 Alfa Montreal soon. So if you are possibly interested in one of these cars please contact me. They are equally as nice!As for this 911E the only thing it needs is a new home. It's starts easy with the Bosch fuel injection system an runs strong through all the 5 forward gears.I'm unclear as to when the Porsche Sports Seats were added. I do have the COE and it appears to be the only option added after the car left the factory. I have sourced out one of the two original seatsthat I will be happy sell separately. It does have the factory added crash bar for front condenser.I've driven the car for around 3,000 miles since I purchased it back in 2015.The car drives and handles amazingly. It shifts and steers as well as my previous 69 911S I purchased back in my college years. In fact, with the larger displacement motor it has more torque than the S in owned. The car seams to have the original dash pad which shows the typical shrinking crack from the edge of the instrument cluster to the radio grill. Other than this the interior is in excellent overall condition.I have many pictures available to interested parties. Ebay allows 24 and I'm not proficient enough to figure out how to add more photos. Just text me for anything specific and I'll be glad to send them to you. I might also add I've had the car on a lift. The bottom pan is excellent shape. No signs of any repair. It all looks original. Please text me 417-438-8200 with questions, or call and I'll try to return your call.I'm negotiable but not desperate. Please come check the car personally or order a pre buy inspection.Again, thanks for lookin, good luck to bidders.
