1986 Porsche 944 Turbo Track Car. Vin WP0AA0955GN156063. 136,919 Miles. 5-Speed Matte Black. Sparco Evo Plus Race Seats. Clean Carfax. Porsche fitted outdoor car cover comes with the car. This Matte Black, 944 Turbo Track/DE car is amazingly well balanced, well sorted and extremely quick. It was converted to a track car about two years ago, and has completed only 10 track days, all without any incidents! Here is a partial list of all the modifications: Steam vent kit, Vitesse MAF kit, Manual boost controller at .9 bar (could safely go more... since the Vitesse kit included larger injectors, computer, and fpr), Wideband air/fuel meter, Mechanical boost gauge, Autopower bolt in cage, Sparco Evo plus race seats, 6 point harnesses, Rebuilt head, Rebuilt turbo, New Koni Yellow adjustable shocks all the way around, Racer's Edge spherical bearings on front control arms, Full Lindsay Racing exhaust with external wastegate dump (muffler on dump pipe), Rod bearings replaced (preventative maintenance - old ones were in perfect condition when removed), Manual headlight conversion, Power steering removed. The sunroof was bolted shut and a carbon-look film applied over the hood and roof. All rubber lines were replaced with high quality silicone when the engine work was done. Clutch master and slave have been replaced, as has the oil separator, and many other maintenance items. Brakes and tires have one 20 minute track session on them. Hawk Blues up front and Porsche OEM on the rear, with slotted rotors on all corners. Tires are Hankook Ventus RS-3. Clutch has 5k miles on it. It still has heat and A/C, which are currently INOP, but all the parts are there. This is the perfect car for Porsche Club of America driving events. Instructors are always present to help you learn the fine art of Race Car Driving! There are different sessions to insure that you're in one that matches your experience and ability. The maintenance costs for this car are extremely affordable. When you advance to a faster car, you would be able to sell this to another enthusiast, probably at a profit. A nice paint job such as the ones on the Martini or Rothsman 944 racers would do wonders for increasing the value. Google the "Porsche 944 Racers".
