1974 Porsche 914 Additional Info:

1974 Porsche 914 1.8
Purchased from an auction approx. 6 months ago. I had every intention to turn this into a weekend canyon bomber, but as feared, life and work got in the way.
The car started and drove relatively well before I garaged it and started tearing it down.
The GOOD:
Body is straight, although is has a few dents and some obvious "bad Bondo" on some of the panels.
It appears to have never been in a major or moderate accident. All seams a straight.
It is a California car, with minimal rust in all the obvious places. The drivers floorboard, the passenger door, the front hood weather strip rails near the headlights, and a little surface rust on the rear trunk.
The glass is surprisingly clear. No scratches or cracks.
The BAD:
Needs new leather and vynyl.
Needs a new driver's side floorboard.
Needs minor metal work in the front trunk, near the headlights
Obviously, needs paint and body work.
Needs new shocks, wiring, etc. It is a project car!
The UGLY:
It is ugly. My wife hates looking at it. So, unless you have a really understanding partner, this will be a source of recurring comments.
PRICED TO SELL FAST. NO RESERVE. PURCHASE AS-IS. NO TRADES. CASH OR CERTIFIED FUNDS ONLY.
I paid WAY more than I am selling it for. So, buy it ... put a few thousand into it and you will definitely make some money on it.
To be very honest, I recently purchased a new project, so this one has to go to make room for the new one.
Good Luck bidding!
