1987 Porsche 924S finished in Red with Black Interior. The 1987 Porsche 924S was fitted with a 4-Cylinder 150hp engine. 5-Speed Manual Trans. When the 924 version first came out in 1977, it went away from air-cooled engines and became water-cooled. Originally Designed by Volkswagen, it was sent off to Porsche to be sold as the 924. Front Engine and Rear Wheel Drive with a pretty even weight distribution at 48/52 let this car roll nicely down the road. In 1983 and beyond, the engine was updated with more power and the driveshaft was balanced with the Mitsubishi-Licensed Driveshaft replacing the old system Porsche created. This is a fun first Porsche or a piece of history for a collector.It is in exceptional condition for the year and model.
