I am selling my 1968 912, ts a 4 cylinder 102 SAE HP. I bought this car in 2003 and drove this awesome little car every day while living in So. Ca. It is a 5 speed and has some get up and go power. In 2004 I had the engine completely overhauled and have receipts showing what work was done. In 2007 I moved to Idaho where I now reside. The climate is not conducive for year round driving so my 912 has been garaged and driven on rare occasion when weather permit. This engine has approx. 60k miles on it. This car has been a great car for me; its just 2 years shy of being 50 years old and can use some TLC. Like anyone turning 50 its starting to show some wear n tear and can use attention. If your not ready to take on a complete restoration then this car is ideal for you. There is some rust not much. Some electrical works and some doesn't, uch as. Headlights work but high beams don't. Running & brake lights work, linkers don't. Interior lights, peedometer, as gauge all work, indshield wipers don't. When I was driving this car on a regular basis everything worked, have only checked the fuses and didn't care to dive into the electrical system .In preparing to sell my 912 I have bought a new battery, ew starter and windshield wipers. The front seats need some attention. The body has only 1 small ding on the rear passenger qt panel from a shopping cart. The 1st gear is out. Brakes are still good and tires will need to eventually be replaced. As you can see the hood, he top and the engine compartment are black primer. I was going to restore this car but with a growing family I realize that I don't have the time. I am accepting any reasonable offers. I have also done my homework and know what these cars are going for from rust buckets to classic restoration. So please be serious with your offer, r generous for that matter and you just may be the owner a rare classic 1968 912 Porsche. Clean title and have pink slip in hand.
