1982 Porsche 911 Additional Info:
You're viewing my 1982 Porsche 911SC targa. This is a highly desirable original black on black car, with sport seats and AC! The paint is driver quality and has a few minor blemishes here and there, but looks great from a few feet away. The interior is leather and the sport seats are a very nice rare option. There is a small seam separation on the passenger seat by the shoulder area. The dash is nice and crack free. Carpet and mats are in good shape as well. The body is solid and the floors and longitudinals are very clean. There is one rust spot up at the front pan that needs attention. Very common on these and an easy fix. The engine does not make any weird noises nor does it smoke at start-up or while running. As you can see in the pics it is pretty dry as well underneath. A new fan belt is also included. The drivers pedal cluster needs rebuilt as it is seized. In addition I think the engine needs a new warm up regulator. These are pretty easy fixes. The targa top also needs recovered but I am including that vinyl piece with the car. Tires are in decent shape with lots of tread left. The car was equipped with an alarm and the fuel pump is tied into that. It needs to be directly wired to the fuse block in order to bypass the old alarm as an easy solution. With the value of old air cooled Porsche's going thru the roof, and restored examples of these SC's reaching $50k+, this is an excellent investment! I have the car advertised in several venues so the auction may end at any given time. Case in point I sold one of my last Porsche's locally the same day my eBay auction was ending and I couldn't end the listing because it was within 12 hours. That of course was a fluke, and I don't foresee that happening again. But, feel free to make me an offer to end the listing early if you don't want to miss out or be outbid. Please only bid if you are serious and financially able to pay. I expect a $500 deposit thru PayPal IMMEDIATELY following the auction so I know you're not playing games, and final balance to be wired to my bank within 3 business days. No exceptions. I have had too many flakes bid, win, and then I never hear from them again. You will be reported. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. I am a private collector thinning my collection of collector cars, so all sales are final and there are no warranties. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Zero feedback bidders MUST contact me with a phone number where we can speak before placing your bid, or your bid will be cancelled.
