Porsche introduced the 964 Turbo model in March, 1990as the successor to the930. Unfortunately, they hadn't had the necessary time to develop a new turboversion of the 3.6 liter M64 engine, and chose to re-use the 3.3 liter engine from the 930, with several minor revisions that made the engine smoother, less prone to turbo lagand more powerful, with a total output of 320hp. This car has a larger Garret turbo and headers. A total of 3,660 of the 964 Turbos were built.
This is a 3 owner, well documented, well preserved turbo. Restoration and performance modifications were performed by current owner, including recent 100K service, new clutch, new slave cylinder, new 2-piece cross drilled brake rotors, new Fabspeed header exhaust system with heat exchange, new Bilstein PSS9 suspension, new inner and outer tie-rods, new shift rod linkage, new Rotoform 3-piece 18" wheels, new Bridgestone RE-11 tires, all new lighting and OE replacement lenses (front corners and rear sections) and new Climate Control Unit.
