1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe
This Carrera is just out of long term Porsche enthusiast ownership. The higher miles are atestamentto this Porsche having been lovingly enjoyed and, importantly,maintained. Service was recently performed at Kennedy Motorsports here in Daytona Beach, FL. Ipersonallydrove (andphotographed) this 911 yesterday along the 35 MileHistoricOrmond Scenic Loop and Trail. The "Loop" is a scenic drive along A1A and through a couple state parks. The route provides plenty curves and long stretches of road to properly test drive a 911. The 911 was a blast to drive and performed flawlessly. The Engine revs beautifully. The Exhaust note is throaty andquintessentialflat 6, air-cooled Porsche. The G50 Transmission praise is well-deserved. Of course, the 911 surely received a lot of attention, questions and thumbs up during our 35 mile excursion.
