Vintage 1987 Porsche 944S model. This is not the base model 944 and is not priced as low as a base model. The "S" model is the high-performance Porsche 944 that was only made for 2 years with a total of 600 in black and used many of the same parts as the 944 Turbo model. This car has a 2.5L DOHC 16V engine with 190 HP, 30 more than the base 944. In addition to the standard options this car has a power driver's seat, antilock brakes, cruise control, and 16" manhole cover aluminum wheels.Since I purchased this car I've added new Bosch wiper blades, a Duralast Gold battery, the original center console tape cassette holders, a refurbished digital dashboard clock from 944online.com, and a vintage tape deck that has an added aux mini cord in for your iPhone. A car cover with the Porsche logo, a trickle charger, and a gold window reflector to protect the dash are included.This car runs well, is really fun to drive, and the only known issue is the sunroof doesn't open. I hate to part with it but I have another car and it's hard to have two in the city.Cosmetically this car has a few dings and small chips in the paint that are normal with its age. The interior is clean with Porsche floor mats and only a few flaws in the leather seats. I added photos from my drive today. It's currently being kept in covered parking.
