Not fully original, IMPROVED! 3.0 Liter rebuild (210 HP) with 20,000 miles and added front-end oil cooler (gave original 2.0 liter to high school auto class); engine properly broken in, flies from 2700 to 6000+ RPM; re-geared original 5-speed 901 transmission; upgraded front disc brakes; Jaguar 100% wool carpet throughout; later-model seats for better support, plus electric adjustment and heat; electric windows; RSA door panels for cleaner look; replaced driver floor-board on purchase, no rust now; doors/windows have no rattle or wind noise as is typical for early models, they seat tight. Drives tight as a drum, quick, a true sports car, a total delight. Reliable, take a drive to California on 101 and 1, no worries. I purchased from Newport Beach area around 2000, had in San Francisco until 2010 and thereafter Idaho, always garaged. Bought with about 54,000 miles, was told original but didn't verify as I knew I was upgrading everything needed. Not detailed for photos, just washed at the local spray wash, you can get it shining even better!
