1961 Porsche 356 B Coupe Chassis 117120 Engine 605455Here we have a car that is rare these days, but not in the sense you may be thinking. What makes 117120 rare is it is listed at no reserve, so if you thought you had been priced out of a 356, this is your chance. The car looks to originally be white over red interior, with corduroy inserts in the seats, these are cool on a hot day! Also of note the car has the Porsche Factory rear compensating bar, which is normally found on the Super 90 cars, so whoever ordered this car had performance on their mind. There is rust on this car, lots of it, please look closely at all the pics to get a good idea of the amount of work this car will need. The engine is engine number 605455 and is pictured on the table, everything that is included is pictured, so the engine is not 100% complete. The floors look to be original with the tar paper still intact. I doubt you can save these floors but if they are original at least that means you won't have to cut out someone's 1970's pop-rivet job to put in new floors, just the metal that the Factory installed. Trust me, this can really help when restoring a car, seeing how the Factory had something installed. Also good news is this car hasn't been picked of every last part, stuff like gauges and door guts are all still there, so you won't be hunting down every little part when you restore it. There won't be many affordable 356's left soon, they are all getting snatched up.Don't miss out!
