1976 Porsche 911 S Targa Additional Info:
1976 Porsche 911 S Targa. This vehicle runs and drives great! The engine starts right up every single time. I have a folder full of documents going back to the early 90's which is when the 2'nd owner took ownership.. I think around 1991.. The engine was completely rebuilt by a Porsche specialist around that same time. The Ice Green is the original color this vehicle came with, was repainted about 10 years ago (you would think it was done last week, this vehicle has been garage kept since 1991) The paint is good but not Barret Jackson quality.. a good cut/buff color sand and buff will do the trick. The interior is in excellent condition and what I believe to be 100% original.. its crazy how nice this interior is.. the seats are in great shape with no rips or cuts.. hardly any wear on the driver seat. the dash pad looks new.. all of the gauges work perfectly, odometer is spinning just fine showing 139,5xx miles. this is a air condition car, the a.c works and was cold last summer now not so cold.. may just be Freon.. has defrosters and everything.. only non factory item is the radio.. which is a old cassette and needs updating but the radio still works great.. I have the original targa top key and taking it off and putting it back on is a breeze its very light weight and one person can do it in less than 1 minute. the top itself is foldable for storing in the trunk if youd like.. I always just kept it in the garage while it was off. The body is straight as an arrow with no rust has been a southern car for all of its life. as I mentioned above paint is good and shiny but could use a water/color sand and buff.. there are no dings or dents in the body.. this car turns heads every where it goes.. Has plenty of life left in the BF Goodrich tires about 75% thread remaining. factory original wheels.. suspension is good and tight.. Handles like a Porsche..no rattles are odd noises... I'm telling you, you can get in this car and cruise it every weekend and not have to worry about getting stuck on the side of the road..very well maintained and reliable vehicle. I cant think of anything else to say... if you have any questions at all please feel free to ask... you may also call 704-620-8388 You can also see the youtube vide here Winning bidder is required to make a non refundable deposit in the amount of $500 via paypal within 48hr's of auction closing. remainder of balance to be paid in full within 7 days of auction closing. accepted forms of payment are cash in person or cashiers check drawn on a bank I have access to, wire transfers also accepted after they have fully cleared. **IF YOU ARE SHIPPING THIS VEHICLE LET ME KNOW AND I CAN GIVE YOU A QUOTE FIRST, AS I HAVE A CAR HAULER AND MAY BE ABLE TO DO IT CHEAPER** *legal stuff* This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty written or implied. all sales are final.
