The previous owner and I spent over $20K to make this a very reliable street driven car. I have not taken it to the track as my son and I are into Shifter Karting. The car does not overheat ever, ue to all of the cooling system improvements. The car idles nicely and has great power. The engine internals are OEM. The transmission shifts smoothly and it has no strange quirks or noises! The alignment is straight and the suspension is solid. This is ready to drive home!
I have not put this car on a dynamometer. The speedo climbs quickly as it should! It sounds like a healthy V8 and this car will get looks at intersections or at your local car meet when you pop the hood.
This 1996 LT1 V8 engine had 54K/8 yrs from the donor car and has another 22K/12 yrs in this Porsche. It runs clean and passes CO emissions testing as it does have a catalytic convertor in the center of the car.
If I were to keep this car I would:
1. Repair the drivers side seat bolster as it is worn, ut currently has a leather insert.2. Upgrade the headlights to a ballast type HID light. I'm use to my 997 and the bright lights.3. Run electrical wiring so the windshield wiper fluid rinse can be dispensed. Fluid reservoir and lines exist, owever the wiring is not connected to interior switch. Was not a problem for me as I did not drive in the rain.

FYI - banks and credit unions do NOT finance 31 year old cars. If you do not have the funds, lease do not bid.
Thank you and good luck with this NO RESERVE auction!
