1977 Porsche 911 RSR Additional Info:
Treat yourself to something special this Holiday Season! You're looking at my 1977 Porsche 911S/RSR clone. Numbers matching. All steel widebody with very nice bodywork. I just had the car repainted when I decided to make it into the RSR look. The paint is beautiful, smooth as glass! The car is very solid with no rust, and the front pan and floors are spotless. Doesn't appear that it was ever involved in any accidents. Clean, clear title in my possession. The interior has been updated to RS door panels and aftermarket race seats. The dash is very nice with no cracks. The radio is missing and the black trim around that opening has a small crack (easily fixed/replaced). The original 2.7 liter engine is very strong, and fires up with the first blip of the key! It does not make any funny noises nor does it smoke. It has had work done in the last few years including valve adjustments, oil fed chain tensioners and pop off valve in the air box. Approximately 15-20k miles on motorwork. There is a common minor oil leak, but overall it's a pretty dry engine. I believe the head studs were addressed as well by the previous owner. Again, it's a really strong running car! The clutch and tranny are smooth with no synchro or shifting issues. The car is equipped with a factory sunroof but it isn't functional at this point. Updated headlights and fog lights. Lights work, wipers and horn aren't currently (fuses?). The rear side quarter windows are the desirable earlier pop-out type. The car is a great driver and will give the next owner tons of enjoyment. The brakes and tires are in good shape as well. The rims are 2 piece Cup style. In some of the pics the passenger wiper arm was off the car. It's back on as can be seen in one of the pics. I am a private seller that enjoys collecting and restoring old Porsche's. I currently own quite a few and need the space. I require a $500 PayPal deposit immediately following the end of auction, and the balance to be wired to my bank within 3 business days. No exceptions. 0 feedback bidders MUST contact me PRIOR to bidding, or your bids will be cancelled and you will be blocked. I have had too many game players in the past and it not only wastes money, but my time as well with relisting. No warranties expressed or implied. All sales final. Ask any questions before bidding. I will gladly sell oversees. I am less than 3 hours to the Port of Charleston. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! No reserve, last bid wins. I will entertain ending the listing with a solid offer.
