1973 Porsche 914 Additional Info:
1973 Porsche 914 1.7. Selling due to moving out of Country & can't take with me. I have owned since 1989, when bought it was restored like you see it. Other owner installed KYB rear shock, Koni front struts, Monza exhaust, Formaling steering wheel, Enki rims, fiberglass front & rear bumpers, Euro hella rear & front signal lens (front have cracks) rear excellent, electric antenna, Bosch fog lights & covers, custom center console with 10" woofers. Car has been on non op since 1998 when my son used & sucked a valve seat. About 5 years ago I replaced engine with a 1971 model & a few weeks ago I replaced fuel injection with dual Empi 34mm carbs, new low pressure fuel pump & fuel pressure regulator. Car runs great & strong, shifts smooth. Car has been sitting in my garage & carport the last 18 years so it needs a few things. Falken 195/60 tires are weathered & need to be replaced, rear floor pan mainly under passenger seat needs to be replaced (see rust in pictures). Last owner made repairs to hell hole & battery tray (see pics). No other rusted out areas, just some surface rust & some bubbles (all in pics) I can tell left front fender has had some repairs & can see in sunlight. Cylinder head temp gauge needs to be hooked up. High to low beam switch sticks sometime (won't go to high beam). Cassette not working but radio does. Rubber around glass has tears & worn. Seats have some tears on edges. Windshield has a small chip & some scratches at bottom near trim, not very noticeable. One rim has a dent on edge (see pic) doesn't effect tire change. Just noticed right rear caliper is sticking sometimes or could be pad. Car from 10 feet away looks great but sitting over the years now needs some attention. Car is way nicer than most 914s, lots of compliments. Just needs a little more work & you will have a very nice 914. Buyer must pick up or arrange pick up. Must be picked up within 7 days after auction. Bidders are welcome to stop by & see.
