1979 Pontiac Bonneville Additional Info:
I am listing this car for my wife's aunt. This is a 1-owner car that was bought new in Parkersburg, IA in March of 1979. This car was driven very little and never during the winter or on gravel roads. The car has been stored inside since 1995 and was just recently taken out to sell. The car is in very good shape with just under 11,000 actual miles on it. I say it is in very good shape because there are a few spots (door dings) that would stop it from being in perfect shape. They are very small and you need to be looking for them to notice them at a quick glance. The drivers side headlight is a little bit loose which I haven't looked at yet. I had to put the trim back on the drivers door and reattach it to the passenger side back corner. The car has a brand new battery in it that was bought on July 4th of this year and it has a 5 year warranty. When I brought the car to my house, I had it at 85 mph without too big of an issue. It was hesitating a little bit because it hadn't been driven for a while but the more it is driven, the better it gets. I think it just needs to be taken out and driven for a few hundred miles to make sure that it gets all the rest of the old gas burned through it. The interior of the car is in very good shape. The headliner is sagging (typical). The fuel gauge shows a full tank all the time. Other than that, it just needs a good cleaning. This car still has the original tires and windshield wipers on it so they would probably need to be changed if it was going to be driven any kind of distance. This car is for sale locally so the auction could end without notice at any time. If you have any questions, feel free to call or text me at 319-269-8283 and I will try to answer any question that you have. The car has a clean title and has never been restored so everything is original. I would expect the buyer to pay for the car and pick up the car within 7 days from the time it sells. I don't do PayPal the only form of payment accepted are CASH or CASHIERS CHECK. Cash is preferred. I would deliver this car within 200 miles for a fee and only after it was paid for in full but anything more than that, the buyer would need to pick it up or arrange shipping. I know that she is motivated to sell so if you want to make an offer, feel free to call or text me. The worst that can be said is "no". Thanks for looking!!!
