For sale is my 81 Trans Am with a professionally built Pontiac 455 engine. This engine has been bored .30 over with forged pistons, Comp cams K-Cam kit, Magnum roller tip rockers, Edlebrock aluminum cylinder heads, Holley Street Dominator intake manifold, Holley carb, re-built TH350 transmission with Fairbanks shift kit and TCI 2200rpm stall convertor, Headman Pro-Hustler headers, Dynomax tail pipes, Mallory ignition, Goodyear Eagle NASCAR tires and more. This is a solid car. I would say "rust free" but there may be some rust hiding somewhere that I don't know about. The paint is poor with some flaking and chips. The air conditioning was deleted and still needs a firewall block plate and other heater work. I have the shaker scoop but it needs a little modification to fit the GEN Air Induction air cleaner (made to fit earlier shaker scoops).
This was a "mid-life crisis" project that I started many years ago. The car has less than 500 miles since engine installed. It does run great! I just ran out of funds to finish it like I want to. It should not be considered a "turnkey" daily driver, but is getting close to it!I have approximately $7000 invested in the engine alone! There is no reserve price! No Warranty! The buyer will assume all shipping means and expenses. The title is clear and in my name. Thanks for looking:)
