1975 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:
This 1975 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is in better than average condition. I just revised the price as this car needs a new home. Will consider reasonable offers. NADA Classic Car Values Reads: Low Retail - $11,500 Average Retail - 25,000 High Retail - $40.000 These cars are top investments, and will get you a return if improved andcared for. The body is very straight, solid, and clean. The paint was done about 6 months ago, and the Bird is painted on the hood. Then all clear coated. It had very little rust, which was located in the lower quarters in front of the rear wheels, only about the size of a quarter. And one dime size small area in the trunk pan. The floor pans, and rear frame rails are in solid shape.I've been all through this car and have found no signs of prioraccident damage. The doors close good, no sagging. All weather stripping is in nice shape, and does not leak water around any windows. All glass is good with no cracks. Front and back glass has been recently set with all new sealant. Both front and rear seats have new upholstery, and all interior panels are in good condition. Although not a numbers matching car, she does have a 1975 Pontiac 400 engine. The motor has been recently gone through with new clevite bearings, bored .40 over with aluminum flat top pistons, an Isky Camshaft TQ 20, new lifters, new timing chain, andwater pump. The heads have been changed to 6X from the originals for better compression ratio. Other parts include an Edelbrock Performer Intake, Edelbrock 750 Carb, Hooker Headers, and dual turbo muffler exhaust. She runs very nicely. The auto transmission is the TH350 with stall converter, and shift kit. This car runs smooth as glass, and shifts solid and firm. She tracks good down the road on almost new Firestone tires, fitted on later model 15 X 7 Snowflake Wheels. Brakes aregood, wipers work, and emergency brake functions too. All lights and blinkers operate, as well as gauges. Overall, this is a very nice, good running real survivor TA. From the factory she was red exterior, black interior. Most AC components are there. The evap core, compressor, and condenser are all new, never been charged. It just needs to be plumbed and chargedby an AC specialist. All the ductwork is intact under the dash. This car can be a daily driver if so desired, and will turn lots of heads at the local car shows. She is dependable, so fly on down here and drive her back home. Just bring license plates. I can help with transportation if needed. I will trailer her up to 500 miles, depending on your location. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required from buyer at time of sale, just send through PayPal. Balance to be paid when car is picked up, or within 5 days of sale, car picked up or not. Car is sold as is, no warranty available. I have the option to close this listing early as I have the car listed for sale locally.
