1930 Pontiac 3 window coupe Hot Rod/ 3 Window Coupe/ Model A /Gasser Additional Info:

Po1930 Pontiac 3 Window Coupe with jump seat. This Coupe lived its life in Darwin California,Nevada Death Valley. This is a Original Hot Rod / Gasser built in 1966 to race on the miles of the dessert highways in Cali and Nevada. This is one rare piece of American History, not a recreation or a modern ride, it is a bare bones hell of a ride. This particular car resided at the mining town of Darwin California as the owners ride, never in bad weather, so the vehicle is very solid. The Original build in 1966 came at the untimely death of a 66 GTO. It is all steel, no fiberglass panels, there has been body repairs through the years. This car is not perfect and not a show car, but everyone comes to check it out wherever it goes.. In 1966 the complete Pontiac power plant was transplanted into the 30 Coupe. The 389 was replaced (years ago) with a 1969 350 (383 stroker /60 psi oil pressure) with 3 Strombergs, however everything from the firewall back is still Pontiac, even the 66 GTO shifter. Everything is built the way things were done in the 60's.and fabricated with what was available. The front end is completely chromed. The hand made headers (ceramic coated), exhaust, brackets, trans mount, the list goes on. The traditional dual leaf spring front end is chrome with disk brakes. It has a vintage steering box that I would replace with a modern tight one. The Pontiac rear is also bolted to leaf springs with Firestone air bags. The interior is all custom grey/red vinyl, including the dash, door panels, seats, headliner and rear panel covering a hidden roll bar. The dash insert is wood with S/W gauges, speedo( not connected,) amp, oil, water, fuel and a sun tach (not connected).there is working blinkers and wiper. The rear oval window and the side windows roll up and down as they should. The original aftermarket old school 3 spoke wheel is in place. The emergency brake appears to be original and works. The Body is all steel ( with repairs through the years)) but looks very good. Remember this is a 86 year old car, and it is rare to find a 1930 Pontia, especially a 3 window. No rust, even the frame is incredible. The coupe was repainted a few times I would guess, the second owner from Darwin told me he painted it in 92 (present color) it appears to have been a green at some time from the paint on the firewall. The paint is OK, a 10 footer. All the original vin and Id tags are in place.Things refreshed:new front rotors / pads and bearingsNew brake lines with residual pressure valves and proportioning valveRebuilt carbsOne new Firestone airbagFront leaf spring bushingsFront stabilizer addedServiced engine, trans and rearReplaced original honeycomb radiator (included leaks) with custom made aluminumUnbolted the chrome ladder bars that are includedNew Wiper MotorAdded Hurst Line LockCoupe will be sold with original chrome wide dish wheels that are in great conditionPlease realize the age of the car and that it is not like driving a modern made Coupe, it is a real Vintage Hot Rod.Email for further info or email your #This vehicle is being sold as is, I recommend to ask questions, call 845-222-4524 or see the coupe in person, it is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
