1988 Pontiac Fiero Additional Info:
For Sale is my 1988 Fiero GT. I am second owner and call has spent its' life in AZ. I have had the car in storage since 2005. Time does fly. Car is solid and tight. Great example of what is considered the best year and model. Starts right up even after sitting. I am trying to be as up front as possible, good and bad. Here's all the stuff I know. It's all there. Has BBS wheels and the stock Snowflakes. Tires shot, rollers only. Original paint, easy respray if original color. No wrecks. The left tail light lens is cracked. The passenger seat is discolored where my son sat a box of pool chemicals. The plastic whiskers at bottom of side windows are hard and need replacing. Left side plexiglass window is cracked. Battery is new. I had a packrat problem. Ate the engine insulation liner and chewed some wires. Fixed wiring. I also have a complete wiring harness from a 1987. I think this would be an easy project. Basically everything needs a little attention, but nothing difficult or real expensive. Head lights were working fine until I fooled around with them. Not really sure how to adjust them. Everything whirs and moves but not quite open. They worked fine until I started turning knobs to see what would happen. I am happy to speak with you in detail and can text pics or video. This my one and only time I have listed on ebay. This could be easily restored to its' former glory or just made into a really nice driver.I used it as my fun car and it is a blast. I am late 60's and 6'3". Getting in and out is pretty tough but when I am in it it's the most comfortable car I have ever owned. I was always going to get around to doing all this stuff but realistically that's never going to happen. I had replaced shocks and struts, and catalytic converter. All very low miles but that was ten years ago!
