The engine bay is nice and tidy with a completely rebuilt date coded correct WS 389ci/360hp engine with casting number 9778789. It features the popular Tripower set up, factory chrome valve covers and a 4-core radiator. It also features power steering, power brake booster with an upgraded dual master cylinder and front disc brake conversion..
The white interior really pops up against the dark blue exterior. The interior is in great shape with new seat cushions and seat covers. In between the bucket seats is a factory 4 speed console with a factory Hurst 4-speed shifter coming up through it. The door handles, armrest bases, sill plates and kick panels appear to be original. Looking forward to the dash: It has a factory style tachometer in place of the clock. The dash pad is nice, no cracks. The carpet and headliner are nice. There is an AM/FM radio in the glove box.
Looking up at the floors, it is all clean metal and appears to be original, no patch panels. The motor and Muncie 4 speed transmission look clean as well.It has a 2.5” dual exhaust with correct factory style mufflers and factory style tail pipes running out the back. The rear suspension has been upgraded with boxed in lower control arms and a rear sway bar. It has a Safe-T-Track rear end with 3:55 running gears. The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
The trunk is all clean metal. It is complete with trunk mat and spare tire with jack assembly. It has a light coat of Black and Aqua spatter paint finish.
This 1966 GTO runs and drives phenomenal!! This gorgeous GTO turns heads everywhere you go!!
