1978 Pontiac Firebird WS6 Additional Info:

Here is a lovely example of a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Affectionately know as Big Red. This is a pretty unusual car as it just pulled it out from a garage 3 blocks from my house after being parked up in a garage for over 20 years. It was a one owner vehicle from new and I have all the records from day one I've got a folder of over 3 inches of receipts and paperwork detailing all the work was done over the years. The car is very original with mostly original paint finished and red with a black interior. This car was a equipped with the desirable WS6 performance package, 403 V8, automatic transmission, 3:23 posi rear end, electric windows, door locks, with factory air conditioning (needs a new AC compressor as the old one is leaking). I found the original build sheet under the back seat. Its been a California car all is life and still retains the original blue and yellow license plates. The engine is original to the car and has a partial VIN stamped on the block. The panels are all original and there is only one spot of rust at the bottom of the right fender, otherwise the car is rust free. I replaced the whole braking system with new master, calipers, wheel cylinders, shoes and brake hoses. A new set of BFG Goodrich T/As were also installed and new shocks front and rear. The car runs really nicely with no issues. I have the original handbooks and warranty paperwork. Clean California title. Drive your passion.
