1962 Pontiac Bonneville. Built in South Gate, California and has been in California ever since. I'm the 3rd owner of this car. I had plans for this car, but with my job it has been sitting in my garage, and I never get a chance to work on it. This model for this year is hard to find. This is an unmolested, all original car (except for minor engine parts and paint). I have all original paperwork, repair receipts, and manuals dating back to the original owner. Below is some more information. If you have questions, please ask.
Owner 1: Owned the car from 1962 - 2007Owner 2: Friend of owner one took over the car from 2007 - 2025Owner 3: Myself
1962 Pontiac Bonneville- 62,277 Original miles- Automatic- 389 V8 engine 2bbl- Clean title and registered- Power steering and brakes- All lights and gauges work, even the AM radio!- All windows roll up and down nicely.- Doors, trunk, and hood open and close with ease.- Tires are a little older but have new tread life.- The chrome is amazing for being this old. I have spent a lot of days getting it back to life. There is some pitting in the chrome.- The previous owner put a cheaper paint job on it, but it is very close to the original color.- I put a new fuel pump on.- The car turns over and starts, but when you take your foot off the gas it shuts off. Possibly a vacuum leak or in need of a carb adjustment? I'm not sure. I just haven't had time.- I have a new master cylinder to go with the car. The original looks like it has seen better days, but it is starting to go through brake fluid quickly.- This car is pretty much rust free. There is some surface rust on the lip of the trunk lid that is developing.- The original interior is starting to split at the seams in the front, and it needs new headliner.- This is an A/C car. The previous owner removed the parts under the hood, but I have them in the trunk.
I promise you, you will not find a more complete all original car in this condition for this year and model. Other than some minor mechanical work and some interior work, you have a one-of-a-kind car. If you look up the price guide on these cars, you will see that my asking price is quite reasonable.
