Vehicle Details

1964 Pontiac Tempest that was used since early 80s as a drag car. Car is being transformed back to a Prostreet car, was originally a base old lady grocery getter given to the grandson and raced around Pensylvania drag circuit. Car is rust free and in excellent condition with fresh base coat, clear coat eurathane slick paint job. Car has a low mileage 1966 389 with Crane cam, rebuilt heads with roller tip rockers, new oil pump, timing chain, freeze out plugs, rings and bearings at the time of rebuild. Carb is a rebuilt 750 Carter competition that is fresh and ready to go. Floors and frame look to be excellent, rear back half redone to modern Chris Alston 4 link and adjustable coil overs. Weld wheels and tires have zero miles. New aluminum radiator, trans lines, turbo 400 with shift kit, from a 71 trans am, both worked excellent in a 66 gto. Trunk mounted, dual battery set up. Car is very clean in and out, no rust or rot, very nice clean gaps, motor,trans and rear all professionally detailed. Last run it did was 11.48 quarter mile, with a Pontiac drivetrain.
