Here we have an original 1988 Pontiac MERA. All MERA badges are still on the car. Most have removed them to put on Ferrari badges. This is not a kit car. The MERA was designed and produced by Corporate Concepts Limited of Capac, Michigan. They were only available on new Fiero's from the Pontiac Dealership. Only 277 were produced due to a lawsuit from Ferrari for copying the Ferrari 308. I get compliments everytime I drive it. It looks identical to a 308.
She runs and drives good. The original 2.8L V6 was replaced with a 3.4L prior to my ownership. Sounds awesome. Slight play in the steering due to the miles. She has good paint. Not perfect, but very good. There's only a handful of these cars left in their original condition.
