Up for sale is a ’77 SE Firebird Trans Am. Garage kept for 20+ years. This is a non numbers matching car, as it threw a rod and cracked the block of the original Pontiac 400 engine. It was a daily driver at the time and the 400 was replaced with an Olds 403 Trans Am engine. Engine started and ran fine last time it was started. Will need some gaskets replaced.
Started to restore it but no longer have the time. Hate giving up my dream car, have owned it since 1983. Overall car is in good shape. Some surface rust on roof, but other than that virtually rust free…floorpans are solid as is trunk pan. It has new Cooper Cobra tires, new door hinges, motor mounts, and leaf spring bushings. It does not have a windshield, as original was cracked. I pulled it out and haven’t replaced it yet. Rear seats in very good condition. Front seats will need recover, but are in decent shape also. No cracks in dashboard or center console lid.
Lots of extra parts include set of four snowflake wheels, hood, three front noses, three rear bumpers, three driver’s side fenders, one passenger side fender, quadrajet carb and other items.
Photo shows white passenger side door. I bought this as a rust free replacement, as the original is very rusted. Both original driver & passenger doors are still included though. Note: Black rear spoiler in photos is not included, but instead white rear spoiler in excellent condition is included as are spoiler end caps. Has clean Illinois title. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like more photos. Local Pick Up Only. Thanks for your time and for looking.
