I purchased a vehicle at an auction in Florida. It appeared to be a 73 formula car $8000 for a ride home from Florida, but it arrived was a Trans Am with a Chevy motor in it. I wanted to make a super duty clone. I purchased all new sheet metal shaker hood fenders door skins quarters Trans Am spoilers shaker assembly interior dash pad trim pieces. I have just about everything to complete the car.
Vehicle Details
The motor is a 455 judge block reinforced with two additional mains. It’s a six bolt main. The board and stroke clearance has been cut to make it a 501 cubic inch motor rotating assembly as Butler, Kaufman, deport, aluminum heads, Butler performance, roller valve train intake oil pump motor has been painted to look stock. It was built by legendary Pontiac guru Jim Yanske. the transmission is the Midwest Muncie built 220 Z gasser trans rated for 750 foot pounds of torque synchronizers have been shaved down for quick shifting. The motor produces 575 hp at 625 pounds of torque. I also purchased everything to strengthen the tin bolt rear end axles locker gears to stand up to 625 foot pounds of torque. Parts and labor i’m just a motor and transmission was above 25,000. I’m also including 79 Trans Am automatic car doesn’t have a title if you’re in the state you could apply for a lost title would be nice. I traded a 6.4 Ford diesel engine for it the motor was priced at 7500 between both cars, engine transmission, body panels interior axle components and miscellaneous small parts. I probably have 60 grand in it We began to strip the car down car is solid for the most part needs a floor pan, which is already purchased. It would make one hell of a super duty recreation
