Vehicle Details
Unique Opportunity to get the foundation for a great project car. This is originally a Tennessee car that I purchased from someone that was in the process of building an award winning show car. The body was great to start with and they were working from the bottom up to restore it to award winning. Odometer shows 21,000 but title is exempt and does not show miles. My suspicion is it was not actual, but I was not worried about it. Car had been completely stripped down minus the dash as the process started before I bought it in 2007. It was taken to a bare frame and body for refinishing. Exterior body, hull and subframe all taken to bare metal. When refinished the car only needed repairs for a few minor dings but zero rot or rust problems. Floor and underneath reset to white and rear frame and subframe were reset to proper semi gloss black. The body was sealed and primed. When I got it I sent to a professional shop for further jamb work and panel alignment. The car was going to go back to shop after the motor, but it stalled out there. All new suspension components including new tie rods, ball joints, all bushings replaced with MOOG replacement parts. They are rubber and not polyurethane for a smooth ride. Swaybars and all taken to bare metal and reset to color. New springs and coil shocks up front (Monroe) new 4 leaf springs in the year, new bushings and perch mounts for rear end. I have the factory 3.08 rear end. The car has a 4 wheel disc 2.73 posi for better mileage. You can see it is all installed. The factory Recaro seats are really in good shape other than some of the webbing broke in the headrests. I have stored the car inside. The rear seats have a few small marks, like cigarette burns. Interior is just loosely installed for transport and storage. Containers and car have all the parts from the car. Trim panels for the car are in good condition. Has an excellent steering wheel included also. Also included is a year correct low mileage 301 turbo motor that I was told had low miles. Rebuilt transmission and an NOS GM turbo with less than 1000 miles. There is another 1980 301 turbo motor that comes with it too. Still needs door panels and headliner. I think i have a Phoenix graphics decal kit too. You get what I have.
