Vehicle Details
This is a very nice, soli, 64 GTO, that I purchased 2 years ago. It is fully documented by PHS. It was painted over 20 years ago, and I would grade the paint appearance 7 out of 10. I've done the following, since I bought it...removed the original 2 speed automatic and installed a new TCI Turbo 400 trans, installed new Hedman headers and stainless exhaust, replaced the original steering column with Ididit column, replaced original gauges with Dakota gauges, installed B&M floor shifter, installed all new body mounts, installed coil over suspension front and rear, installed wilwood disc brakes on the front, replace the original GTO Rally wheels and 14" tires with Cragar mags and 15" tires, replaced the fuel tank and lines, replaced the trunk floor, removed the factory optional mirror from the driver side front fender, and installed 2 new mirrors on either door. The engine was recently completely rebuilt before I bought the car, but I have no receipts for that work. The entire body was recently wet sanded, touched up, and coated with a process similar to ceramic, but advertised as 5 times harder. Everything works as it should. the roll up windows are pretty hard to roll up due to the original seals still in place. this car does not have A/C. It does have power steering and brakes. All the original parts that I removed are still in fairly good condition, and go with the car. This is a great classic muscle car to cruise to local shows. There are absolutely no mechanical issues with this vehicle. Only high octane gas should be used. You could easily spend twice my price for a lesser quality GTO. This is a fun car to drive, that gets a lot of attention.
