Pleased to offer this 1966 Pontiac GTO that has been built to high performance standards, and attention to detail shows everywhere on this very expensive and lengthy build. A search began in Phoenix, Arizona for a Low Mileage/Dry Climate example and was luckily found. More rewarding was the Dry Climate and All Original sheet metal from top-to-bottom, and in amazing condition. So good to know this is all old factory GM Steel, and body panels refined in the Paint and Body process. This was a running and driving GTO sold new in Phoenix, Arizona, and off to the local and reputable Restoration Shop it went. After completion 7-years ago, the car has only been driven a short 300 miles. Properly stored and maintained since.

Paint and Body is exquisite as the exceptionally straight Body Panels will reveal. Near flawless, and with only a couple of very tiny chips due to use and age. Almost not worth mentioning although the buyer needs to know. Straight body gaps throughout, and any exterior trim item were either restored or replaced to gleam. All glass Panels and soft trim where replaced as well. A very hard to pick apart Exterior presentation, and the car has a lovely stance, and the personal touch Rally Stripe addition tasteful and nostalgic to the Era.

The restoration on the Interior was a complete sweep. Seat Covers, Door Panels, Headliner, Door Cards, Dash Cap, Dash Fascia, Seat Belts and all bright work has been replaced. The 4-Speed Center Console is pleasing to look at, and the original AC/Heat and Vent controls were retained in the Vintage Air, Air-Conditioning upgrade. Window Tracks, and Wing Window Assemblies, Dyna Mat insulation, and about everything else to improve the driving experience.

All Mechanics have been gone-through with precision and great detail to insure reliability on this factory 389 car.

Performance upgrades and include …....

Completely rebuilt (#'s Matching 389), Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Intake Manifold, and a mild cam. Performs flawlessly on pump gas

Dougs Headers and a Magnaflow Stainless X-Pipe Exhaust ( a fine tuned and subtle sound)

Completely rebuilt 4-Speed Transmission, with Clutch Assembly and Linkage replacement

A Limited Slip 10-bolt GM Rear Differential with Heavy-Duty Axle Shafts, Hotchkis Axle Links, and Sway Bar and Spring Kit

Completely rebuilt Brake, Steering Box and Fuel System

The Undercarriage clearly shows as a Rotisserie Restoration with Clear-Coat Black body panels underneath. The Frame, Rear Differential Assembly, and Front Suspension components have all been Powder-Coated, and nicely assembled. Very nice, and shows little road use.

This beautiful 1966 Pontiac GTO is ready to drive, enjoy and cherish right now. That statement made with confidence, and please contact me immediately with any questions or concerns. Priced to Sell, and thank you for looking, Brent.
