1968 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

I am selling my 1968 GTO H/O Convertible, This needs work and has been off the road since 1995, I have the PHS for this Goat Which Proves its Rarety of 461 Produced in 68. It is an Original 1968 GTO HO Convertible that came from the factory with a YZ 400 HO Motor which is gone now. In it's Place is a Running 1969 WS 400 Ram Air III Block with 1971 #96 Cylinder Heads 8.2 Comp, The motor has a Edlebrock Pontiac Torker intake with a Holley dual Feed 4 Barrel Carb. The original Hydromatic 400 auto Trans is also Gone and in it's place is a 1970 PT Code Turbo 400 Auto Trans. This motor does start and Run but there is NO Gas Tank. I have not run this Motor for a long time due to tank and leaking Radiator. The transmission does go through it's gears. It is paired up with it's Original 1968 Gto His n Hers Shifter. Paired up with this Drivetrain is it's Original 1968 GTO HD Nodular, 4 Pinion ZH Code 3:55 Gear Ratio Posi Rearend. This HO GTO Convertible came from the Factory wearing Exterior Color Vedoro Green with a Black Top and a Ivy Gold Interior, Bucket Seat, Floor Console car. Options were Power Steering, Handling Package, Rally Gauges with Clock, Hideaway Headlights, Push button Radio (Missing) with Front and Rear Speakers and a Power Rear Antenna, This had a Drivers Remote Mirror (Missing), Vanity Mirrors (Missing) Rally II Wheels (Nice set of 4 w/PMD) The Interior Needs work! The front buckets were covered years ago with White covers and same as the rear seats. Will need Restoration. Missing front Door Panels and the rears are rough. The Dash pad was covered so I presume it is cracked underneath. The radio opening was altered from an aftermarket radio, The cardboard Glove box insert is missing. The floor Console is nice and it's not the original because it's Black with the His/Hers shifter that needs some cleaning up but shifts and works nice. The convertible Top Frame is good with the exception of the Header Bow does show Rusting. The Motor/Lines/Switch/Rams is all there. The Body and Floors of this Gto had some previous work done but are decent with some cleaning up to be done. Still needs work and it depends how far you want to restore this 68 Goat. The Body: Hood is Rusted and not in good shape! This comes with a Brand New Repop Hood also. The Fenders are in very good shape, Both Doors also are decent but need some Tlc, The rear Quarters had some lip and lower rear work done to them previously. There is Bondo. The Trunk lid also had some lip area work done. The rear bumper is original and not bad. The tailight lenses are there with one chipped on the top edges. The Rally II Wheels are in Nice Shape and appears they were restored at one time. They come with there trim rings and PMD centers. Please ask Questions. I have plenty of Pic's. This Gto is being sold with a Bill of Sale and a Notorized Form. I also have an Older Plate GA where it was Registered a while back. This Gto will need to be Towed!
