The car has undergone a beautiful restoration and the paint and trim are in overall excellent condition. In 1958, the Super Chief was based on the long-wheelbase Star Chief and was only available as a coupe and sedan. Like its sister models, it had twin headlights, a panoramic rear window and wider side stripes in the area of the tail fins. The Super Chief sub-series was promoted to full model status leaving just the standard array of Chieftains as the entry level Pontiac.Competition to this Pontiac in 1958 included Buick’s Series 40 Special Riviera, Dodge’s Coronet, Edsel’s Citation, Oldsmobile’s Dynamic 88 and Rambler’s Ambassador. If you like the idea of a General Motors car from the ’50s but have not been able to find a Chevrolet or Cadillac to fit your liking or your budget, come check out this Pontiac instead at Mission Classics.VIN: P858H10795This car is currently located at our facility in Brooksville, Florida.
