1976 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:
Pontiac Trans Am-Absolutely excellent condition with the Gold/Black Emblems and Gold HoneyComb Wheels. I have owned the car for about three years now and have not put 1000 miles on it-basically have driven locally to car show gatherings and just to enjoy the chance to relive more than a few great memories of the 80s. I bought to enjoy and preserve-a great point in time. The car has been well cared for-the only things I have done were to change the modification of headers the previous guy had put on for sound removed. I LOVE a totally stock Firebird/TA. I had the original stock dual catalytic converters and mufflers placed and the sound is softer with that purr only a TransAm has with the 400 engine and the 4 barrell Quadrajet carburetor. I also replaced fan belt pully and all belts and hoses great.
I put a Kenwood Stereo in place of an older one. The interior is excellent and the exterior is excellent. The car starts right up. The AC blows cold and the heat works well. Electric windows work well. No cracks or issues with glass. Car starts right up and will drive anywhere. The car listed as 76K when I bought it from the collector and and I have no way to prove or disprove other than to say it looks it. The interior seats and panels are all excellent.
I am posting this set of pics with more to follow. I am selling for one reason-RETIREMENT AND MOVING TO THE OCEAN. I will not place this car outdoors and honestly its time for another person to have and enjoy this car. She needs to be driven and enjoyed and taken to shows etc.
I paid a very good price for this car 3 years ago and you can see on the ebay listings and Hagertys the value--but Im going to do something I think is fair and not price it so high that you are competing with the collectors selling through companies that want to take commission etc. This way everyone gets a fair shot. If you love these cars like I do--youll likely be the one that gets it! I used Best Egg to borrow but there are other places online that lend for these. It was very reasonable.OK guys and ladies----Im setting the reserve at $5,000.00 and lets see what happens! You are welcome to email me at any time and Ill answer any questions you may have. Happy bidding and the auction will last for 7 days! I will not ship and I will not tolerate SCAMMERS or third parties trying to sell this. I have made quick trips to buy a car and if you win you must be ready to meet me at the bank with the funds and drive her home. No crazy wire transfers or 3rd party buyers, etc. Im offering a fair auction here and I am not receptive to any risky payments.
