1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 455 Additional Info:

Up for Sale is my 73 Formula that came with the very rare factory 455 engine, 4 speed manual transmission and Factory AC. This car was restored a while back and it was built to be used and enjoyed so with that in mind this is the reason we went ahead and swapped to an LS6 engine with a Hot Cam and a T56 6 speed manual transmission mated to the GM10 bolt differential with 3.73 gears, headers with dual exhaust with flowmaster quite Mufflers and more and more. It was built for us so it has a lot of goodies that makes the car so enjoyable to drive, Wilwood Disc Brakes all around 6 piston calipers, Hotchkis Suspension, 17x9'' wheels, rare Recaro Reclineable seats to name a few. The car is very solid with no rust, the floors were professionally replaced at one point and it was sprayed with Raptor Liner for protection.
Those of you that are not to happy with the swap We still have the 455 motor the came with the car, is it a non-matching numbers but the block, heads and intake are from the same 1973 year, short block is 0.30 over bored in good condition but it will have to be put back together if you want to go that route, we also have the numbers matching 4 speed transmission that came with the car, will need to be rebuilt as 3rd gear is bad. We have some pulleys and brackets for the motor but it is not complete.
This is not a show car or a garage queen, but if you want it to be it is not to far from it, it has some small chips on the pain, again it was built to be used. We put a cap on the dash since a new one was not available and it shows some warping on the top section, the fuel gauge and rpm are off, never got around to fixing it. I would strongly suggest to anyone interested to send an inspector or come see the car before you buy it.
I could only load 24 pictures but we have tons of them, so send me your info if you want to see more. We have a Florida Clear Title with my name on it and copies of the build sheet.
