Looking for a budget friendly 1969 Pontiac GTO? Look no further! This car is priced at the bottom of the market and is a great candidate to drive and enjoy while you make improvements.
This is a real 242 VIN GTO with a 400 CID V8, power steering, power front disc brakes, and cold blowing Vintage A/C! That's right! All of that for under $40,000!
This car has great looks with the bright red paint, Rev alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and functional hood tach. It just received a new Edelbrock carburetor, fuel pump, fuel pickup, some fuel lines, new battery, and more!
The 400 CID engine is topped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, that new Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, full-length headers, HEI distributor, and an aluminum radiator. The headers run to dual exhaust with an X-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers for a great muscle car sound! The engine could be taken to the next level with some detailing and a chrome dress up kit if you want to make this a show car.
The interior is white and is very original. Bucket seats, a center console, Vintage Air controls, a Retrosounds radio, and faux woodgrain give it a great feel. This is where some money could be spent to take it to the next level, and why the price isn't $50,000+. The back seat is in good shape, as is the newer carpet, dash, steering wheel, and center console. The front seats need new padding and an upholstery set.
The trunk is clean and a blank slate to do what you want. Spray it with spatter paint, or put down a trunk mat to finish it off. There are also some extra parts in the trunk that go with the car, along with a folder full of documentation for recent work, and parts manuals. The paint is driver quality and would benefit from a good cut and buff.
