1976 Pontiac Grand Prix Additional Info:

Pontiac Grand Prix 50th Anniversary Edition. You are bidding on a nice original example of a rare Pontiac. The Golden Anniversary was produced in 1976 celebrating 50 years of Pontiac. They only produced 4,807 units. This particular one was bought at the estate auction of the original owner. It was bought new at Stan Lassen Pontiac in Battle Creek, Michigan. The documentation on this car is phenomenal. We have the original window sticker, manual, brochures and nearly every piece of paper from the purchase. The good:This car still has her original motor and it’s a 455!! She runs, drives and stops. This is a bench seat, automatic on the column car which makes this car even more rare. Power everything and it all works. All lights, gauges, horns operate the way the should. Interior is clean with no rips in the seats and only a few very small cracks in the dash. The car has new front brake lines, master cylinder, rotors/calipers/pads. Car comes with 4 gold rally 2 wheels. The bad:Both Hurst Hatch t tops have cracks in them. The carburetor will need to be rebuilt or simply replaced. The car also needs a new exhaust system. It’s missing the top base of the air cleaner and both rear wheel opening moldings. Pictures show that drivers rear floor pan has a few rust holes and would need to be replaced. The original vinyl top has some splits and rust is starting to bubble below quarter windows as shown in the pictures. The car had both quarter panels replaced in the 80s and the paint is a slightly different color noticeable in the sunlight. The tires are old and dry-rotted and should be replaced before being driven.Even though there are several things to correct, this is a solid piece of Pontiac history and virtually untouched in its 90,000 mile history. With just a weekend’s worth of work you can kick back in the drivers seat and be cruising the town and the only question you’ll have to answer is, “t-tops in or t-tops out?”The winner is to send a $500 deposit, via PayPal, within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance is to be paid within 7 days via cashier's check, personal check or cash. All checks must clear the bank before the car is released. There is a walk-around video of the car available at: https://youtu.be/PsCv038WCfU
