1969 Pontiac GTO The Judge Additional Info:
1969 Pontiac GTO"The Judge"
100% #'s matching and unmolested
Untouched original WS Code 366 hp Ram Air III engineOriginal down to carb and radiator, anything consumable or to hinderdrivability was attended to.Motor has never been out of the car and runs like a clock!
Muncie M-20 trans is original to the car and shifts well, clutch grabs great. 3.55 rear came standard on these cars.
The paint and body are original and show well for a 52 year old car...she's survived. Perfect frame, floors, trunk....not a rust bucket by any means, a little surface rust on the bottoms of the doors...but...I'd treat it, and leave it alone.
The interior is all 100% original, and while the car sat for many years...a mouse or come critter got to the drivers seat...console lid is dry rotten, door panels are shot...dash pad is naturally, cracked, carpet is dust.
If it were me I'd do the carpet and find a "survivor quality" drivers seat, a set of door cards and drive it... I just never got to it.No "extra" gauges or modifications were made to the car.
The car runs and drives great, very reliable. Like I said, all rubber items, consumables, and things like the brakes, carb, and radiator were rebuilt.
Car has all original stampings and markings on the car...nothing has been reproduced!Even the factory US steel markings on the gas tank. Exhaust is not original to the car.
I would NOT restore this car. This car is very well known and has been a teaching tool for these cars.
History on this car. This car was bought new by a A. E. Woodman of Nashville, TN. in the summer of 1969. He put about 20k miles on the car through 1972, when he passed away, suddenly. His wife Margarie kept the car in the garage until 1988, having it started periodically. Murray Woodman, the son...got the car back up and driving in the late 1980's and then the car was parked in the family barn around 1992. It sat there, with the driver window open until the car was rescued and brought back into service, and further dialed in over the years.
While I do not have the Protect-O-Plate or window sticker..all might not be lost, as I've been told they are stored away "somewhere" and recently got a call that the "mom" had passedaway and they'd find them...they will go to the new owner...no promises...but these people are good people...and I have high hopes.
I have many service records of the car throughout the years documenting the mileage...and it is 100% correct. I do have the PHS on the car and it is provided here. 4 Speed Judge with power steering and a 4 speed. Thats it.
I don't read eBay messages insofar as real buyers will call. No trades, I'm not a Dealer so I can't finance you. I'm not going to go out and take 100 pictures. Iencourage any and all inspections by any 3rd party. The car is well known and it's history speaks for itself.
Car is advertised on other forums andauction will be pulled in the event of a sale outside of eBay.
