1970 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:
1970 Pontiac GTO 400 4speed. Body is in good condition. Front bumper will require some repair but nothing a body shop that knows how to repair the rubber bumpers used that year. Driver side top of qtr panel near trunk lid had minor rust, will required finishing the repair. No other areas have rust. Painted pearl white, will require a refresh. Complete rebuild 22 years ago. Engine, trans and rear in like new condition. Mild build on the engine, 3.91 gears in rear. Headers, Edelbrock manifold, I have an original. Quadrajet carb, I have an extra Holly. Mallory ignition. Originally a CA car. Factory AC not installed but I have all the parts necessary to reinstall. Originally had a vinyl top, I have all the chrome necessary to reinstall. Interior in excellent shape, everything works, including the original AM/FM. Hood is sprung thanks to someone who did not know how to close the GM hoods of that era but I have a brand new set of hinges. Not a Ram Air car but I have almost everything to add it. I have at least $5,000 in parts, all rubber, all chrome, two hood tachs, front springs, original chrome rocker arm covers, spacers required to adjust rocker arm covers to accommodate reinstall of AC compressor, spray paint for interior and truck, trunk liner, as noted above, all AC parts, various trim pieces and lots of miscellaneous stuff.Rear axle housing not original, it came off a 1971 or 1972 Buick.
I do not have the time to do another minor restoration, only reason I am selling it.
