1971 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:
Beginning in 1981, I started driving Firebirds. Had a Firebird from 1981-2012 when divorce made me sell it. Meth head dismantled my car and left it to rot. I bought this one to work on and I've had it a few years. Runs great, radio needs work. It has a couple of alarms but I keep it indoors and don't know if they are still hooked up. Known problems: the hood is not set on correctly - it is pinching the windshield wipers so I can't use them. Its a daylight driver for us - no rain so its not a problem for me but you'd want to fix that. Rear bumper has a small dent.
Motor is a brand new from the crate 1971 400, intended for a Pontiac LeMans. Installed last summer. Windows crank up.
I bought a condo and the @#$^$%ing garages are 6" too short, so after all these years, I have no place for my Firebird. Proceeds go to pay for my leftover bills from my divorce. Someone is going to love this car, like I did.I dropped the "Buy it Now" price by $7,500, and lowered the reserve another $2,000 --- its now for sale for less leased Honda! It is available for test drives in San Diego (it is in the Mission Hills area)
