1984 Pontiac Trans Am with only 79K miles and almostcompletely original. It’s been in storage since 2015 so the carb has been rebuilt and fuel pump replaced. I also did a cap and rotor, new plugs, and aoil change. Also has a new battery. Came from the factory with power windows and mirrors, a/c,powersteering, function hood scoop, 5-speed manual, 3.73 rear end, power seat, cruise control, t-tops, and areo package. There is zero rust and and the paint is in great shape otherthan a spot on the driver side fender and rear quarter that has a little peelingclear (tried my best to get it in a picture but a white car hides it reallywell). There is also a little chipping around the hood scoop and the leading edgeof the hood and headlights from rock chips. Popup headlights do function as they should. Tires are older but near new when it comes to tread depth. The exhaust was replaced at some point with a stock replacement with cat and is in great shape. The only thing on the outside that off is the antenna doesn’t powerup. The door on the passenger side does scrap the ground effect when openingand closing (normal GM thing). T-tops leaked just abit when I bought it which was an easy fix but I had to replace the material onthe rear driver side seat and while I was at it I had a small rip on thedrivers side seat fixed also. Theheadliner is in good shape and there are no cracks in any glass. The dash pad hasthe typical crack or two but is still presentable unlike some I’ve seen (it’scurrently cover with a dash mat). Interior is complete and in great shape. Thearmrest is there, working, and no cracks even. Comes with the original t-topbag but it does have a small hole in it. All the gauges and buttons work exceptfor the gas gauge which stuck on full which may only be a bad ground but I havenot investigated it. Radio was replaced at some point but the current one worksand all the speakers work. Under the hood is the original 305 HO with only a few changes.Someone removed the emission parts and plugged them off which doesn’t turn onthe check engine light but it won’t pass a emissions test I would guess. Theone other thing is a aftermarket flex fan with the stock shroud. The a/c has acharge but squeals when turned on. May be a loose belt or a compressor on it’sway out but it does hold a charge. There are no leaks underneath ands it ridespretty good for its age and being an old f-body. All in all a really nice example of a 1984 Trans-am you can dailydrive and make upgrades and still have the stock parts to go back to originalif needed.
