1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM GTA Additional Info:
Overall the condition is a 9 out of 10. Exterior paint shines brilliant Red. Interior is in near perfect shape with no rips, tears, cracks. Wing is in nice shape with some typical minor cracks. Previous owner replaced exhaust with flowmaster (sounds incredible), front calipers, pads. I have done work (through enhanced inspection station) on the 9 bolt borg warner which was serviced. I also replaced the battery with a bosch 8 year warranty battery. I also flushed the radiator and system and now has clean green antifreeze. I have replaced both headlights and various other lights as they passed inspection but were not that bright. I also did multiple small odds and ends (cleaned connections on fittings that were intermittent with issues, wipers, oil and filter, etc.).
Ice Cold AC / Hot Heat.
This car has passed PA Enhanced Inspection (Enhanced is not normal state inspection. Any car that comes from another state into PA with a reconstructed title must be thoroughly examined and checked for additional safety checks prior to passing). PA Inspection until 08/19. I have all receipts from the shop that performed this service. It does not need emissions as the car is too old.The reconstructed title scared me at first as I did not know anything regarding it. Once it passed enhanced inspection and I drove it, all those fears went away. If it scares you, you should not proceed. Otherwise this car runs and looks better than most 2018 cars my friends have.
Power antenna goes up and down however does not fully retract.
The previous owner also (professionally with relays, wrapped wiring, etc.) added a hard coated switch to operate the fans. The original factory plugs are still in place and can be re-utilized. I did not like this at first and had planned to put this back to factory however over the summer I appreciated the ability to control the fans without worrying about the car running too hot. Digital dash all works. Systems check perfect with PONTIAC on the display. There was an additional gauge added for an analog temp gauge which is very accurate (I checked with my snap on mt2500 scanner). Undercarriage is exceptionally clean.
This car runs like a beast and is quick. Tires look new but have old date codes. I see no cracking on them and I have run the car at highway speeds without any issue.
No shipping. No exceptions. You must come here, look at it, drive it then go to a tag/notary to do title transfer.
Any questions, just ask.
