Here is a great opportunity to bid on a very solidRARE, 1981 TRANS AM TURBO!!!! Pontiac made over 70,000 Trans Am's in 1981, but only 6,612 TA Turbo's with T-Tops. This car has great potential and its a great canvas for a"BURT REYNOLDS"tribute car, whether a true Pontiac restoration or a cool "REST-MOD" beauty. The car has all the right options for an awesome built: T-tops, turbo engine, all power-(four wheel disc brakes/ windows/ steering/sway bars-front & back/ etc.), its basically identical to the "Special Edition", except in brown metallic disguise. The car is mostly complete exceptfor the following: some small engine components- connectors-etc, original wheels, radiator-hoses, etc. It does come with "old school" centerline wheels, all four and an OEM brown clean middle console. The engine/trans seem to be the original that came from the factory, have not checked numbers. The car was going to be restored by theprevious owner, but decided to sell it due to many projects. I decided to sell due to other projects that I want to complete, my loss is your gain. The car needs complete restoration, but all floors are very clean- rust free, panels need some work to be perfect, the hood does need to be replaced- it bends a little at themiddle driver side when closing due to inside rust- sometimes its hard to close straight,there are a couple of tiny spots atthe T-TOPS that need to beaddressed, the interior needs work.
