Very CLEAN & FAST 1979 Firebird
If you are looking for a numbers matching original car this is not the car for you, but if you're looking for a beautiful Trans Am style car with performance this is the one for you!!!
This car may have begun life as a base Firebird model, but has been transformed into a beautiful Trans Am model using all GM parts. The car has spent most of its life in central Florida (non-salt environment) before I acquired it. I purchased this car about 10 years ago and completely restored it. The restoration was fairly easy as the car was rust free due to the prime location it spent most of its life in. From the time I restored the car I continued to make enhancement to it which have made it into a fun street or strip car. I would give this car is an 8 out of 10 just because it has had around 10,000 additional miles put on it since the restore and has some very slight finish blemishes from normal driving wear and tear conditions. I have enjoyed this car in so many ways, first by simply driving it around town (always turning heads & receiving many Thumbs Ups), or taking it to local car shows where it has won several trophies through the years, many local cruse night events, several weekend summer extended cruses, and a couple fun days at the local quarter mile strip with run times reaching 11.5 seconds.
The car has around 98,687 original miles on it, and less than 10K has been applied in the last 10 years. It has never been driven in bad weather and always stored over the winter months in my heated garage.
I believe I have over $30K invested in this car, but understand that I will never get my full investment back out of it when selling, but no worries, as I have had LOTS of fun over the years I've owned it.
Originally I never planned to ever sell this car, but I have recently changed my mind for the reason that I am planning to retire to Florida soon, and looking to take the money from this car and invest in a boat to enjoy the local Florida water activities.
Below is a list of the highlights of the car, and I am sure I will miss a few things as so many things have been enhanced on this car.
