1968 Pontiac Firebird CA BARN FIND !!! Additional Info:

Sitting in a garage in Whittier, Southern California, A true barn find, one owner 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible. It still retains the iconic blue and yellow CA plates. This is a matching numbers, original 350 V-8 engine. Runs and drives beautifully; no squeaks, or rattles, very smooth shifting transmission!!! A dry California car, no rust, except for a very minor rash around rear passenger wheel well. PERFECT UNDERSIDE (see photos). The body and shut lines are excellent. There has been a minor fender bender on the front passenger side bumper, which will need to be corrected, no structural damage. The car was originally Meridian Turquoise, but has had a repaint. Comes with jack, original spare rim and an extra set of keys. Gas gauge needle will need some attention, as it is not reading correctly. Lots of nice options; center Console shifter, Period radio, working power soft top (soft top will need to be replaced), power steering, A/C (not working).Four brand new tires put on. Just spent $330 on a minor service (plugs and points, brakes checked, and fluid levels) but I do recommend a major servicing. This is the perfect candidate for a restoration, A true survivor, with excellent bones and a perfect underside !!! You just don't find them like this anymore !!!
