Frame-off Restored 68 GTO

1968 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

Frame off restored, PHS documented, 1968 Pontiac GTO. Restored factory Flambeau Burgundy on Parchment interior with factory white vinyl top. Very rare, possibly was a special ordered combo. Factory bucket seat and console interior with tilt wheel. Power disc brake and power steering. 3.36 Safe-T-Trac rear axle. Based on stampings and date codes it appears to be original 400ci 4bbl motor and TH400 transmission, as well as rear end. No rust. Underside of body was painted while removed from frame, no undercoating, it is easy to see how excellent of condition this GTO is in. It has been restored back to stock with the exception of exhaust and gauges, and has had a completely new wiring harness installed. Exhaust is ceramic coated Doug’s headers with flow masters and crossover. Gauges are Dakota Digital VHX series. They function and look very nice. The GTO is for sale locally and auction may end early if reserve hasn’t been met. Viewing prior to bidding and shipping after auction is responsibility of the bidder. Sold as-is, where-is, with a clean Oregon title and stacks and stacks of restoration receipts.
