1977 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1977 Trans Am. This is a unfinished very modified resto project. Below I will list everything done to it and what it will still need. This is a great starter to someone wanting a resto T/A. If you want original this is not for you. It has had a roof swap to Fisher T/Tops before I got it. It was very well done but for that reason I never considered puttingit back to original. The car starts and moves on it own power but is totally untested as a driver. I'm selling the car as a non running parts car for this reason. The mileage when I got the car was 86k but unconfirmed.
Here is a YouTube video of the car running.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzE-EkADgqk
Here is a list of the mods done.- Roof swap with Fisher T-Tops (very well done IMO).
- Has a LT1 engine swap from a 96 Corvette with matching 4l60e Trans.
- Painless wiring harness for this swap ( not a hacked up harness from original).
- Shiftworks shiftierconversion that adds the Overdrive detent (seen in pictures).
- Ceramic chrome color mid length Hedman headers.
- Full stainless Pypes exhaust with the proper splitters. (professionally installed with welds not clamps).
- Specter PremiumFuel tank with proper fuel pump. New Stainless braided fuel lines from tank to motor.
- 58mm throttle body by Professional Products.
- Functional Shaker on custom made airbox.
- Billet battery bracket with Optima battery.
- Rebuilt suspension front and rear with new 2" drop Summit rear leaf springs.
- Air adjustable rear shocks for perfect stance adjustment.
- Complete new brake system (Master cyl, booster, lines, powder coated calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, pads).
- 17" YearOne snowflake rims with 285/40/17 rear and 255/45/17 front Continentaltires.
- Full set of GlowShift 7 color gaugepackage.
- Front dash re-capped and color matched.
- Digitails rear sequential Led and Halo front lighting.
- Finished trunk panels with T-Top holder (Has cover made from vintage Coors wooden beer case).
- New Lecarra steering wheel.
- Kenwood 2din touchscreen with GPS Nav, Cd with bluetooth handsfree.
- 2 Bazooka subs in trunk made to look like Nos bottles. Rockford Fosgate 6X9's inside ("6 Rockford Fosgate's included in sale but not yet installed).
- Lots of billet and steel braded hoses and wires.
- Seats are fitted and from a late model Hyundai Genesis.
- Carpet and headliner are newer and great shape.
- Many new and refurbished small parts done.
This is a list of known things still needed to be done.
- Paint and body. It will need a full strip as the paint on it now is Lacquerand chipping in areas.
- Rust repair: rust in trunk, rear valance, rear quarters, a few bubbles in front of rear wheel arch and a little on the lower inside of doors. Front floorpans were replaced by previous owner.
- Complete bleed and service on brakes
- A/C system wired in engine compartment and hoses made.
- Needs door panels and seats upholstered.
I've listed everything to the best of my abilities. I invite any prospective buyer to view the car in person.Reserve is low, as I said I'm selling it basically for the value in parts plus a small amount for car body. Please ask any questions before bidding.Buyer is responsible for shipping. Thanks for looking. On Sep-12-18 at 07:42:16 PDT, seller added the following information:
As a note this also comes with two sets of T-Tops. A very nice set of gold tint SE tops in original bags kept in trunk rack. Also, a set of what I call shop tops on it. Perfect to keep on while working on it or storing it.
